GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstract Submission Guidelines

  1. Abstract for all the categories of Scientific presentation, must be in Times New Roman, 12 size, single spacing with maximum 250 words as an MS Word document in IMRAD format. (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion). List of Authors, Affiliation of Authors and College have to be mentioned in the Abstract. Presenting authors name may be underlined and highlighted.

  2. Abstract has to be submitted online through the website asipuducherry.com.

  3. Last date for submission of abstract is 5th Jan 2026, 5pm

  4. Registration for the conference is mandatory for scientific presentation.

  5. The decision of acceptance as paper / poster is as per the scrutiny by the scientific committee and is final.

Presentation Guidelines

Free Paper:

  • Original articles can be presented under this category

  • Presentation to be in ppt format

  • Time limit for presentation is 8 mins (6 mins for presentation and 2 mins for discussion)

Free Posters:

  • Case reports / series can be presented under this category

  • Presentation in ppt format with slides not more than 5

  • Time limit for presentation is 6 mins (4 mins for presentation and 2 min for discussion)

Young Researcher Award:

  • All surgeons/ residents less than 35 years of age are eligible for presentation under the category of “Young Researcher Award”

  • Only original articles will be accepted under this category

  • Presentation in ppt format

  • Time limit for presentation is 12 mins Timing (10 mins for presentation and 2 mins for discussion)
